🧩 What is Gold Quantum King EA MT5?
The Gold Quantum King EA MT5 is an advanced automated trading system designed specifically for Gold (XAUUSD), combining AI neural networks, scalping logic and an aggressive recovery (martingale-style) system.
Below is a comprehensive breakdown of each configuration group and what the current settings imply for real trading performance.
🧩 AI Neural Network Settings
🔹 Enable AI Neural Network: true
The Expert Advisor (EA) actively uses an AI-based neural network to filter and validate trade signals. This allows adaptive decision-making based on historical market behavior.
🔹 Neural Network Layers: 10
- Maximum layer depth (3–10 allowed)
- Indicates high model complexity
- Better pattern recognition but:
- Higher risk of overfitting
- Slower adaptation to sudden market changes
⚠️ AI Confidence Threshold: 0.02 (Critical Issue)
- Recommended range: 0.60 – 0.95
- Current value is far below the minimum
- Effect:
- Almost all signals are accepted
- AI filtering becomes practically useless
- Leads to overtrading and noise-based entries
🔹 AI Learning Period (Bars): 5000
- Long training horizon
- Good for historical stability
- However, combined with low confidence threshold → dangerous combination
📌 AI Verdict:
Powerful AI is enabled, but the confidence threshold is misconfigured, severely reducing AI effectiveness.
🧩 Trade Management Settings
🔹 Risk Per Trade: 0.001%
- Extremely conservative position sizing
- Protects capital but:
- Profits will be very small
- Recovery system will compensate with lot scaling
🔹 Take Profit: 3000 points
🔹 Stop Loss: 5000 points
- Risk/Reward ≈ 1 : 1.67 (negative R:R)
- EA relies on high win rate + recovery, not classic risk management
🔹 Maximum Spread: 555000000
- Essentially no spread filter
- Trades will execute even during:
- News
- Rollovers
- High volatility spikes
⚠️ This is very risky for Gold trading.
🔹 Magic Number: 77889
- Unique identifier for EA trades
- Correctly configured
🧩 Recovery System (Martingale Logic)
🔹 Enable Recovery System: true
The EA uses a loss-recovery mechanism to compensate drawdowns.
🔹 Recovery Multiplier: 1.5
- Moderate martingale scaling
- Safer than 2.0+, but still risky in trends
🔹 Max Recovery Attempts: 10
- Very high
- Can lead to:
- Deep drawdowns
- Margin exhaustion in strong Gold trends
🔹 Target Recovery Factor: 2.0
- EA aims to recover losses + double profit
- Increases trade pressure after losses
📌 Recovery Verdict:
This is a high-risk recovery system, suitable only for large accounts or cent accounts, not small balances.
🧩 Scalping Strategy Parameters
🔹 Trading Timeframe: Current
- EA trades based on the chart timeframe
- Scalping-friendly on M5–M15
🔹 Moving Averages:
- Fast MA:
13 - Slow MA:
48 - Classic trend-following crossover setup
🔹 RSI Settings:
- RSI Period:
10 - Overbought:
70 - Oversold:
30 - Standard momentum confirmation
🔹 ATR Period: 14
- Volatility measurement
- Used to filter low-quality entries
🔹 Minimum Bars Between Trades: 0
- No cooldown
- EA can open multiple consecutive trades
- Increases trading frequency and drawdown risk
📌 Scalping Verdict:
Highly aggressive scalping logic with no trade spacing, suitable only for high-liquidity conditions.
🧩 Dashboard & Visual Settings
- Dashboard enabled
- Clear color coding:
- Profit: LimeGreen
- Loss: OrangeRed
- Info: DodgerBlue
- Clean UI with good visibility
- No impact on performance (cosmetic only)
