What is Omega Supply Demand Zones Indicator?
Omega Supply Demand Zones Indicator is a MetaTrader 5 tool that automatically identifies supply and demand zones from price action. It searches for tight bases followed by strong departures, then classifies, scores and tracks each zone as price interacts with it.
Each zone receives a 0 to 100 quality score based on departure strength, base tightness, freshness, pattern type, higher timeframe overlap and age.
Key Features of Omega Supply Demand Zones Indicator
Automatic Supply and Demand Detection
The indicator removes much of the manual work involved in marking supply and demand zones by applying consistent base and departure rules to every chart.
Transparent Zone Quality Score
Each zone receives a 0 to 100 score based on measurable characteristics such as departure strength, base tightness, freshness, pattern type, higher timeframe overlap and age.
RBR DBR DBD RBD and FLIP Patterns
Zones are classified according to the price movement leading into the base. DBR and RBD patterns receive a configurable reversal bonus because they represent potential changes in market direction.
Freshness and Test Tracking
The indicator tracks how many times price has returned to a zone. Fresh zones retain the highest freshness score, while repeated tests gradually reduce their score.
Higher Timeframe Zone Confluence
Zones that overlap higher timeframe areas of the same direction receive additional scoring and a visible HTF tag, helping highlight areas with multi-timeframe confluence.
S&D Score
The S&D Score provides a 0 to 100 directional reading based on the relative strength and distance of nearby demand and supply zones. Readings of 60 or higher are BULLISH, 40 or lower are BEARISH, and intermediate values are NEUTRAL.
Trade Plan and R
Buy and sell plans include entry, Stop Loss, Take Profit and calculated risk to reward. Plans meeting the configured minimum R are highlighted on the dashboard.
Alerts and Dashboard
The dashboard ranks the strongest zones, displays current zone status, trade plans, higher timeframe zones and recent events. Alerts can be delivered through MT5 popups, sound, mobile push and Telegram.
Omega Supply Demand Zones Indicator Review
Omega Supply Demand Zones Indicator takes a traditionally discretionary supply and demand approach and converts it into a rules-based detection system. Instead of requiring traders to manually identify every base and departure, the indicator applies ATR-adaptive conditions across the selected market.
The scoring system is one of its central components. A zone is not simply displayed because a base and departure exist. Its strength is evaluated through departure size, base tightness, freshness, reversal structure, higher timeframe overlap and age. Zones below the minimum display score can be hidden to keep the chart focused.
Another useful element is lifecycle management. A zone remains active while price interacts with it, but repeated tests, breaks and aging affect its status. This prevents the chart from becoming filled with outdated zones that no longer have the same characteristics.
The higher timeframe engine adds another layer of context. Current timeframe zones that overlap a same-direction higher timeframe zone receive additional recognition, making multi-timeframe confluence visible without manually switching between charts.
The ready-made trade plan also makes the indicator practical for structured trading. Entry, Stop Loss, Take Profit and R are calculated from the nearest zones, while the trader can still apply additional confirmation such as rejection candles, market structure shifts or momentum signals.

How Does Omega Supply Demand Zones Indicator Work?
ATR Adaptive Zone Detection
The indicator uses a 14 period ATR by default to measure zone size and departure strength. Because thresholds are expressed as ATR multiples, the detection logic automatically adapts to the volatility of different markets and timeframes.
Base Identification
The indicator searches for groups of one to six consecutive candles that form a tight price base. Each candle must remain within the configured ATR range, while the total base must also stay within its maximum ATR range.
Strong Departure Confirmation
After the base, one to three departure candles must move decisively in the same direction. The default requirement is for the final departure candle to close at least 2.0 ATR beyond the relevant base edge.
Supply and Demand Classification
A strong move upward from a base creates a demand zone, while a strong move downward creates a supply zone. The indicator also classifies the pattern as RBR, DBR, DBD, RBD or FLIP.
Zone Quality Scoring
Every zone receives a score from 0 to 100. Departure strength can contribute up to 40 points, base tightness up to 20, freshness up to 20, with additional adjustments for reversal patterns, higher timeframe overlap, flips and age.
Zone Lifecycle Management
Once created, each zone continues to be monitored. The indicator counts tests, detects breaks, creates FLIP zones when enabled, and removes zones that become overused, too old or invalid.
Multi Timeframe Confirmation
The same zone detection engine runs on a higher timeframe, H4 by default. Higher timeframe zones appear as dashed outlines, while lower timeframe zones overlapping a higher timeframe zone of the same direction receive an MTF bonus.
Automated Trade Plan
The indicator builds a buy plan around the nearest demand zone and a sell plan around the nearest supply zone. Entry is placed at the proximal line, the Stop Loss is positioned beyond the distal line with an ATR buffer, and the target is based on the nearest opposing zone.
Simple BUY and SELL Entry Strategy
For beginners, the Omega Supply Demand Zones Indicator can be used with a simple zone-reaction strategy. The main idea is to wait for price to reach a valid supply or demand zone, then use price action confirmation before entering a trade.
BUY Entry
🔹 Step 1: Identify a valid Demand Zone displayed by the Omega Supply Demand Zones Indicator below or near the current price.
🔹 Step 2: Wait for price to return to or test the Demand Zone. Avoid entering before price reaches the zone.
🔹 Step 3: Look for a bullish reaction from the Demand Zone, such as a strong bullish candle, rejection, or bullish break of a nearby short-term high.
🔹 Step 4: Enter a BUY position after the bullish confirmation candle closes.
🔹 Stop Loss: Place the Stop Loss below the Demand Zone or below the recent swing low.
🔹 Take Profit: Target the next Supply Zone, resistance level, or use a predefined risk-to-reward ratio such as 1:2.
SELL Entry
🔹 Step 1: Identify a valid Supply Zone displayed by the Omega Supply Demand Zones Indicator above or near the current price.
🔹 Step 2: Wait for price to return to or test the Supply Zone. Avoid entering before price reaches the zone.
🔹 Step 3: Look for a bearish reaction from the Supply Zone, such as a strong bearish candle, rejection, or bearish break of a nearby short-term low.
🔹 Step 4: Enter a SELL position after the bearish confirmation candle closes.
🔹 Stop Loss: Place the Stop Loss above the Supply Zone or above the recent swing high.
🔹 Take Profit: Target the next Demand Zone, support level, or use a predefined risk-to-reward ratio such as 1:2.

Why Omega Supply Demand Zones Indicator Stands Out
Rule Based Zone Identification
The same base and departure conditions are applied consistently across charts, reducing the subjectivity associated with manually drawing supply and demand areas.
Quality Based Zone Ranking
The 0 to 100 scoring system helps separate stronger zones from weaker ones instead of displaying every detected area with equal importance.
Freshness Matters
The indicator recognizes that repeated tests can reduce the remaining significance of a zone and incorporates this directly into the quality score.
Multi Timeframe Confluence
Higher timeframe zones are displayed directly on the trading chart, while overlapping lower timeframe zones receive an additional MTF score component.
Complete Zone Lifecycle
Zones are not static boxes. They are monitored through tests, breaks, flips and expiration, keeping the chart more relevant as market conditions change.
Ready Made Trade Structure
The indicator calculates entry, Stop Loss, Take Profit and R around the nearest opposing zones, giving traders a structured starting point for trade planning.
Visual S&D Score
The S&D Score provides a simple directional summary while retaining the underlying zone information needed for deeper analysis.
Flexible Market Application
Because the core detection thresholds are based on ATR, the indicator is designed to adapt to different instruments including forex, gold, indices and crypto.
Recommended Trading Conditions
The default configuration is described as a balanced starting point for most markets on H1, while dedicated profiles are provided for scalping, intraday trading, swing trading and volatile instruments.
| Trading Style | Timeframe | Higher Timeframe | Recommended Focus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scalping | M5 to M15 | H1 | Fresh high score zones and fast departures |

| Swing | H4 to D1 | D1 or OFF on D1 | Larger zones and higher R |
| Gold, Indices and Crypto | M5 to H1 | H1 or H4 | Strong departures and wider ATR buffer |
Who Should Use Omega Supply Demand Zones MT5?
Supply and Demand Traders
The indicator is directly suited to traders who use supply and demand zones as a core part of their trading process and want automated zone discovery.
Price Action Traders
Traders who combine zones with rejection candles, market structure shifts or momentum confirmation can use the indicator as a structured zone mapping tool.
Intraday Traders
M15 to H1 traders can combine current timeframe zones with H4 supply and demand areas for multi-timeframe confluence.
Scalpers
M5 to M15 traders can use H1 zones, stronger departure requirements and higher alert thresholds to focus on more selective setups.
Swing Traders
H4 and D1 traders can use larger zones, D1 context and higher minimum R requirements when looking for broader price reactions.
Gold and Index Traders
The ATR-based architecture is suitable for volatile instruments, with specific recommendations for stronger departure requirements and larger stop buffers on gold, indices and crypto.

🔢 General & Licence
🔹 MaxBarsCalc — Default: 3000 — Defines how many recent bars are processed when the indicator loads. Older bars are skipped. 0 processes the complete available history. Recommended: 3000 for normal use; increase when older zones are required.
🔹 InpLicenseKey — Default: (empty) — Stores the personal licence key from eafxstore.com. Spaces are trimmed and the key is not case-sensitive. The key is checked against the trading account number. Recommended: copy and paste the key exactly as received.
The licence is verified online at startup and approximately every 30 minutes. If the licence server cannot be reached, the indicator normally continues during the 72-hour offline grace period after the last successful verification.
🔹 Account Change — Changing the trading account triggers an immediate licence re-check.
🔹 System Clock — A computer clock set backwards is detected and can cause the offline grace period to be refused.
🔢 Language
🔹 Lang — Default: LANG_EN — Controls the interface language parameter. This build is English-only, so dashboard text, labels, and alerts remain in English. Recommended: leave at LANG_EN.
🔢 Zone Detection
These parameters determine what qualifies as a base and how strong the subsequent departure must be. They have the largest effect on the number and quality of detected zones.
🔹 BaseMaxBars — Default: 6 — Sets the maximum number of candles allowed inside the consolidation base. The indicator tests base lengths from 1 up to this value. Recommended: 3–4 for short, sharp bases; 6–8 for longer consolidations.
🔹 BaseBarATR — Default: 0.7 — Sets the maximum high-low range of each individual base candle as a multiple of ATR. A candle larger than 0.7 × ATR does not qualify as a base candle. Recommended: 0.5–0.6 for stricter bases; 0.8–1.0 for larger candles.
🔹 BaseTotalATR — Default: 1.5 — Defines the maximum height of the complete base, measured from the highest high to the lowest low in ATR. It also controls the maximum height of the zone box. Recommended: lower values for narrower zones; higher values for more zones and wider areas.
🔹 DepartATR — Default: 2.0 — Defines how far the final departure candle must close beyond the base edge in ATR. This is the main zone-strength filter. Recommended: 2.0 for balanced detection; 1.5–1.8 for more zones; 2.5–3.0 for explosive moves, especially gold, indices, and crypto.
🔹 DepartBars — Default: 3 — Sets the maximum number of candles allowed for the departure. All departure candles must close in the same direction. Recommended: 1–2 for very fast moves; 3 for a short sequence of strong candles.
🔹 LegInBars — Default: 12 — Looks back before the base to determine whether price arrived through a rally or a drop. This identifies RBR/DBR demand and DBD/RBD supply patterns. Recommended: 10–20.
🔹 AtrLen — Default: 14 — Sets the ATR period used by the ATR-based zone detection settings. Recommended: 14; 20–30 for smoother, slower-changing thresholds.
🔹 MaxHistory — Default: 3000 — Defines the maximum number of bars scanned backward from the current bar for zone detection and management. Recommended: keep it equal to or below MaxBarsCalc.
🔢 Zone Management
🔹 MaxTests — Default: 3 — Removes a zone after it has been tested more than the selected number of times. A test occurs when price returns into a zone after leaving it. This also controls how quickly the freshness score declines. Recommended: 1–2 for fresher zones; 3 for a balanced setting.
🔹 MaxAgeBars — Default: 800 — Removes zones older than the specified number of bars, measured from the departure. It also controls the age-decay scale in the zone score. Recommended: 300–500 on lower timeframes.
🔹 UseFlip — Default: true — Converts a broken demand zone into supply or a broken supply zone into demand when price closes beyond its distal line. The converted zone is labelled FLIP. Recommended: true when trading role-reversal break-and-retest setups.
🔹 FlipLifeBars — Default: 300 — Defines how many bars a flipped zone remains active after the original zone is broken. Recommended: 100–300.
🔹 MaxZones — Default: 12 — Sets the maximum number of zones displayed for each side, including demand and supply. Higher-scoring zones are displayed first. Recommended: 5–8 for a cleaner chart.
🔹 MinScoreShow — Default: 40 — Hides zones with scores below the selected value. These zones are also excluded from dashboard ranking and the trade plan. Recommended: 50–60 to display higher-quality zones only.
🔢 Zone Scoring
The zone score is built on a 0–100 scale. The default weights total 100 points: departure 40, base 20, freshness 20, reversal 10, and MTF overlap 10. The score can also receive age decay of up to -15 points and a -10 point penalty for flipped zones.
🔹 WDepart — Default: 40 — Maximum points assigned to departure strength. Stronger departures receive higher scores, with the maximum reached at approximately 2.5 × DepartATR. Recommended: increase when departure strength should have greater influence on zone quality.
🔹 WBase — Default: 20 — Maximum points awarded for base tightness. Narrower bases receive more points, while bases close to the maximum range receive fewer points. Recommended: increase when narrow zones and smaller stops are preferred.
🔹 WFresh — Default: 20 — Maximum points assigned to zone freshness. An untested zone receives the full amount, while each test reduces the available freshness points. Recommended: increase when untouched zones should receive stronger priority.
🔹 WReversal — Default: 10 — Adds bonus points to reversal patterns, specifically DBR demand and RBD supply. Recommended: set to 0 if reversal patterns should not receive additional priority.
🔹 WMtf — Default: 10 — Adds bonus points when a zone overlaps a same-direction zone on the higher timeframe. Recommended: 15–20 when multi-timeframe confluence should receive stronger ranking.
