Key Features of Trend Sniper X Pro MT5

Higher Timeframe Trend Analysis

Trend Sniper X Pro MT5 allows traders to view a broader market trend while executing trades on a lower timeframe. The trend timeframe can cycle through M15, M30, H1, H4, and D1 when compatible with the active chart timeframe.

SuperTrend and EMA Confirmation

The combination of higher-timeframe SuperTrend and EMA creates a two-stage directional filter. This helps separate confirmed bullish or bearish conditions from situations where the two trend measurements disagree.

Frozen Entry SL and TP Levels

Every signal can display Entry, Stop Loss, TP1, TP2, and TP3 levels. The levels remain fixed after the signal candle closes, providing a consistent historical trade structure.

Momentum and Trend Strength

Stochastic measures momentum while ADX evaluates trend strength. Stochastic states include CONFIRMED, PARTIAL, REJECTED, BURST, and SCALP ENTRY, while ADX classifies the market as STRONG, MODERATE or WEAK / FLAT.

A B C Signal Grades

Signals receive Grade A, B, or C according to Stochastic, ADX, and directional DI conditions. Four or more points produce Grade A, two to three points produce Grade B, and fewer than two points produce Grade C.

Professional Control Panel

The chart panel displays momentum, trend strength, the latest signal, entry price, grade, SL, TP1, trade status, and historical statistics. One-click controls also allow users to toggle arrows, sessions, zones, SL and TP levels, ATR source, and entry mode.

Backtest Statistics

The indicator tracks total signals, win rate, TP1, TP2, TP3 hits, Stop Loss results, and missed entries across the loaded history. Statistics update when a new candle arrives and can change when different entry modes, ATR sources, or timeframes are selected.

EA Bridge and Alerts

Trend Sniper X Pro MT5 publishes signal information through MT5 Global Variables, including direction, entry, SL, TP1, TP2, TP3, grade, and status. An external EA can read these values for trade execution or management. The indicator also supports terminal, sound, mobile push and email alerts.

Trend Sniper X Pro MT5 Review

Trend Sniper X Pro MT5 combines trend analysis and trade planning into a single MetaTrader 5 indicator. Its main structure is based on a higher-timeframe SuperTrend confirmed by an EMA, followed by confirmation bars before a new direction becomes active.

One of its strongest practical features is the frozen trade plan. Instead of allowing historical levels to change as new candles develop, the indicator calculates Entry, SL, and TP levels at the signal close and keeps them fixed. This makes the historical results easier to interpret.

The momentum and strength modules add another layer of information. Stochastic shows whether momentum agrees with the trend, while ADX and DI values provide additional context about trend strength and directional control.

The control panel also makes the product practical for daily chart analysis. Signals, grades, trade levels, statistics, sessions, and display controls are available without constantly opening the MT5 settings window.

How Does Trend Sniper X Pro MT5 Work?

Higher Timeframe SuperTrend

The main trend engine uses a higher-timeframe SuperTrend with an ATR period of 10 and a multiplier of 3.0 by default. The default trend timeframe is H1. Only completed higher-timeframe candles are used when no-repaint mode is enabled.

EMA Trend Confirmation

A 50-period EMA on the trend timeframe provides an additional directional filter. An uptrend requires price to remain above the EMA, while a downtrend requires price to remain below it. When SuperTrend and EMA disagree, the market is treated as neutral.

Confirmation Bar Filter

Trend changes must remain valid for a specified number of consecutive candles before becoming confirmed. The default is two confirmation bars, helping reduce signals caused by short-lived market fluctuations.

BUY and SELL Signal Generation

A BUY or SELL arrow appears on the first closed candle where the confirmed trend changes direction compared with the previous signal. Signals alternate, meaning a BUY is followed by a SELL rather than repeated signals in the same direction.

Structured Entry and Trade Levels

At the signal candle close, Trend Sniper X Pro MT5 calculates the entry, Stop Loss, and TP1, TP2, and TP3. Entry can be based on MARKET, RETEST, or MID-BAR mode. The Stop Loss uses ATR volatility, while the targets are calculated from the distance between entry and stop.

These levels are frozen after calculation, so later price movement does not move historical entry, SL or TP levels.

Simple BUY and SELL Entry Strategy

For beginners, Trend Sniper X Pro MT5 can be used with a simple trend-following and signal-confirmation approach. The main idea is to follow the indicator’s directional signal, confirm the higher-timeframe trend, and enter only after the signal candle closes.

BUY Entry

🔹 Step 1: Wait for Trend Sniper X Pro MT5 to generate a clear BUY signal on the chart.

🔹 Step 2: Confirm that the higher-timeframe trend is bullish, with price moving in the same general direction as the BUY signal.

🔹 Step 3: Check that the current price action supports the bullish setup and wait for the signal candle to close.

🔹 Step 4: Enter a BUY position after the bullish confirmation candle closes.

🔹 Stop Loss: Use the indicator’s suggested ATR-based Stop Loss level or place the Stop Loss below the recent swing low.

🔹 Take Profit: Use the indicator’s suggested Take Profit level or target the next resistance area, depending on the trading setup.

SELL Entry

🔹 Step 1: Wait for Trend Sniper X Pro MT5 to generate a clear SELL signal on the chart.

🔹 Step 2: Confirm that the higher-timeframe trend is bearish, with price moving in the same general direction as the SELL signal.

🔹 Step 3: Check that the current price action supports the bearish setup and wait for the signal candle to close.

🔹 Step 4: Enter a SELL position after the bearish confirmation candle closes.

🔹 Stop Loss: Use the indicator’s suggested ATR-based Stop Loss level or place the Stop Loss above the recent swing high.

🔹 Take Profit: Use the indicator’s suggested Take Profit level or target the next support area, depending on the trading setup.

Simple Entry Rule for Beginners

The basic rule is:

BUY = BUY Signal + Higher-Timeframe Bullish Trend + Candle Close

SELL = SELL Signal + Higher-Timeframe Bearish Trend + Candle Close

Avoid entering immediately when a signal appears while the candle is still forming. Waiting for the candle to close and checking the higher-timeframe trend provides an additional confirmation that the signal is aligned with the broader market direction.

This simple approach makes Trend Sniper X Pro MT5 easier for beginners to understand and apply. More advanced traders can later incorporate the indicator’s momentum scoring, SuperTrend and EMA confirmation, ATR-based risk levels, and multi-timeframe analysis.

Why Trend Sniper X Pro MT5 Stands Out

Trend Direction and Entry Timing Together

The indicator does more than display trend direction. It combines higher-timeframe trend analysis with confirmation bars and signal arrows, creating a more structured process for identifying directional entries.

Frozen Historical Trade Levels

Entry, SL, and TP values are calculated when the signal closes and remain unchanged afterward. This gives historical signals a consistent trade structure.

Multiple Entry Modes

MARKET, RETEST, and MID-BAR modes allow the trade plan to adapt to different entry preferences. Each mode recalculates the associated levels using the same defined logic.

Momentum and Strength Context

Stochastic and ADX provide additional information beyond the basic trend signal. Their classifications make it easier to distinguish stronger directional conditions from mixed or weak environments.

Conservative Outcome Tracking

The outcome engine records WAITING RETEST, ACTIVE, TP HIT, SL HIT, MISSED, and REVERSED states. If a single candle touches both an SL and target, the indicator counts the result as an SL, creating a conservative approach to statistics.

Built for Visual Backtesting

Trend Sniper X Pro MT5 is designed to operate in the MT5 Strategy Tester visual mode while maintaining the same chart appearance and behavior used for live analysis.

Automation Ready

The Global Variable bridge allows an external Expert Advisor to access signal direction, entry, SL, TP levels, grade, and status. This makes the indicator suitable as a signal source within automated systems.

Risk Management Features

ATR Based Stop Loss

The Stop Loss is calculated using ATR multiplied by a configurable factor. The default multiplier is 1.5, with ATR available from either the chart timeframe or trend timeframe.

Three Take Profit Targets

TP1, TP2, and TP3 are calculated from the initial risk distance. The default intraday configuration uses 1.5R, 3R, and 4R targets.

Entry Zone Visualization

Each signal can display an entry band, a risk area between entry and SL, and a reward area extending toward the furthest visible target. Individual SL and TP lines can also be enabled or hidden.

Signal Quality Grades

A, B, and C grades provide a quick way to assess the momentum and trend-strength conditions surrounding each signal. This can support more selective trade management.

Partial Profit Management

The recommended practical approach includes taking partial profits around TP1 and moving the stop toward breakeven. The product description notes that TP1 is reached more often than TP3, making staged profit management relevant to the system.

Recommended Trading Conditions

The source recommends different combinations of chart and trend timeframes depending on trading style. Intraday trading uses M5 to M15 with H1 as the default trend timeframe, while swing trading moves toward H1 with H4 or D1 trend analysis.

Trading Style Chart Timeframe Trend Timeframe Entry Mode Suggested Focus
Scalping M1 to M5 M15 RETEST Fast trend-following setups
Intraday M5 to M15 H1 RETEST Balanced trend and entry confirmation
Swing H1 H4 or D1 MARKET or MID-BAR Broader directional moves

For intraday trading, the default SuperTrend setting is ATR 10 with a 3.0 multiplier, while the HTF EMA is 50. Scalping can use a lower SuperTrend multiplier of 2.5 and two to three confirmation bars.

The recommended TP structure is 1R, 2R, and 3R for scalping, 1.5R, 3R, and 4R for intraday trading, and 1.5R, 3R, and 5R for swing trading.

Weaknesses and Risk Warnings

Trend Following Can Struggle in Choppy Markets

Because Trend Sniper X Pro MT5 is built around trend direction, sideways conditions can create less effective signals. Confirmation bars and optional ADX and Stochastic filters can help reduce some low-quality conditions.

Higher Timeframe Confirmation Can Delay Signals

The use of completed higher-timeframe candles improves signal stability but can also mean that a new trend is confirmed after part of the move has already developed.

Indicator Signals Are Not Profit Guarantees

The product provides structured signals and historical statistics, but backtest performance does not guarantee future results. Market conditions, execution costs, spreads, slippage, and volatility can affect live trading results.

Configuration Matters

Entry mode, ATR source, confirmation bars, trend timeframe, and filters can materially change signal frequency and historical statistics. Settings should therefore be tested on the intended market before live deployment.

Leveraged Trading Carries Significant Risk

Forex, CFDs, and other leveraged products can result in substantial losses. The product description specifically recommends testing on a demo account first and avoiding capital that cannot be comfortably risked.

Who Should Use Trend Sniper X Pro MT5?

Intraday Traders

Traders operating on M5 or M15 can use the H1 trend as a broader directional reference while searching for structured entries.

Scalpers

M1 to M5 traders can use an M15 trend timeframe, RETEST entries, and tighter ATR configurations for faster setups.

Swing Traders

H1 traders can combine H4 or D1 trend analysis with MARKET or MID-BAR entry modes for broader trend-following setups.

Traders Who Prefer Structured Trade Plans

The indicator suits traders who want Entry, Stop Loss, TP1, TP2, and TP3 calculated automatically instead of manually measuring every signal.

EA and System Builders

The Global Variable bridge provides a direct way for an external Expert Advisor to read the latest Trend Sniper X Pro MT5 signal and its associated trade levels.

🔢 TREND ENGINE (HTF SuperTrend)

This section controls how the primary market trend is measured on the higher timeframe.

🔹 Trend timeframe (HTF) — Default: H1 — Defines the timeframe used to read the main trend. It must be equal to or higher than the chart timeframe. A lower value is automatically raised to the chart timeframe. The TF button can also change it live.

🔹 SuperTrend ATR period — Default: 10 — Sets the number of HTF candles used for the SuperTrend ATR. Higher values create smoother but slower trend changes.

🔹 SuperTrend multiplier — Default: 3.0 — Sets the SuperTrend band distance in ATRs. Higher values produce fewer and later signals, while lower values create earlier signals with more noise.

🔹 HTF EMA period — Default: 50 — Defines the EMA period used as an additional trend filter on the higher timeframe.

🔹 Enable HTF EMA filter — Default: true — Requires the HTF close to be above the EMA for an uptrend and below the EMA for a downtrend. If they disagree, candles become neutral and no signal is given.

🔹 Use closed HTF bars only (no repaint) — Default: true — Uses only fully closed higher-timeframe candles so historical signals do not change. Keeping this enabled prevents repainting.

🔹 Show HTF SuperTrend line — Default: false — Displays the higher-timeframe SuperTrend line on the chart for visual reference.

🔢 NOISE FILTER

🔹 Confirm bars count — Default: 2 — Sets the number of consecutive chart candles that must hold the new trend before confirmation. 1 is fastest, while 3–4 can reduce false flips in ranging conditions.

🔹 Show weak bars (candle against trend) — Default: true — Highlights candles that close against the current trend with a darker colour, making pullbacks easier to identify.

🔢 ENTRY ZONE & SL/TP

🔹 Enable entry zones — Default: true — Draws the entry band, SL/TP boxes, lines, and labels for each signal. The ZONES button can also toggle this feature.

🔹 Entry mode — Default: RETEST — Selects the signal entry method. MARKET enters at the signal candle close, RETEST waits for a pullback to a better price, and MID-BAR uses 50% of the signal candle.

🔹 Retest distance (pips) — Default: 5.0 — Used only in RETEST mode. Defines how many pips away from the signal close the entry is placed.

🔹 ATR source for SL — Default: Chart timeframe ATR — Determines whether the stop distance uses the chart-timeframe ATR for tighter stops or the trend-timeframe ATR for wider, swing-style stops.

🔹 Chart ATR period (SL) — Default: 14 — Sets the ATR period when the chart-timeframe ATR is selected. The HTF ATR uses the SuperTrend ATR period.

🔹 ATR SL multiplier — Default: 1.5 — Calculates stop distance as ATR × multiplier. Larger values create wider stops and fewer stop-outs but result in smaller position sizes for the same risk.

🔹 TP1 Risk — Default: 1.5 — Sets TP1 at 1.5 times the entry-to-SL risk distance.

🔹 TP2 Risk — Default: 3.0 — Sets TP2 at 3.0 times the entry-to-SL risk distance.

🔹 TP3 Risk — Default: 4.0 — Sets TP3 at 4.0 times the entry-to-SL risk distance. Keep TP1 below TP2 and TP3.

🔹 Show SL — Default: true — Displays the stop-loss line and risk box when the indicator starts.

🔹 Show TP1 / Show TP2 / Show TP3 — Default: true — Displays the individual target lines. The reward box extends to the furthest visible target. Hiding a level does not change statistics.

🔢 LEVEL FREEZE & EA BRIDGE

Entry, SL, and TP levels are frozen at the signal close. These settings control how the latest signal information is shared with other programs.

🔹 Publish last signal levels (Global Variables) — Default: true — Publishes the latest signal to MT5 Global Variables using names beginning with TSXP_, including direction, time, entry, SL, TP1–TP3, grade, maximum TP, and status.

🔹 Keep published data for N days — Default: 30 — Removes TSXP_ Global Variables that have not been updated for the specified number of days when the indicator starts.

🔹 Log signal / level events to Experts tab — Default: false — Prints new live signals and their frozen levels in the Experts tab for auditing or debugging an EA connection.

🔢 STOCHASTIC MOMENTUM

🔹 Enable Stochastic confirmation — Default: true — Activates the MOMENTUM card and Stochastic scoring in the signal grade. When disabled, the card shows DISABLED and Stochastic contributes a neutral score.

🔹 %K period — Default: 14 — Sets the look-back period for the Stochastic %K line.

🔹 %D period — Default: 3 — Sets the smoothing period for the Stochastic %D signal line.

🔹 Slowing — Default: 3 — Adds additional smoothing to the %K calculation.

🔹 Overbought level — Default: 80 — At or above this level, a BUY-side reading is classified as BURST, while a SELL-side reading is classified as SCALP ENTRY.

🔹 Oversold level — Default: 20 — At or below this level, a BUY-side reading is classified as SCALP ENTRY, while a SELL-side reading is classified as BURST.

🔹 Midline level — Default: 50 — Determines whether momentum is on the trend side. %K above the level supports BUY, while %K below supports SELL. It is used for CONFIRMED, PARTIAL, and REJECTED states.

🔹 Block signals when Stochastic REJECTED — Default: false — When enabled, new signals are held back while momentum is REJECTED and released on the first later candle where the condition is no longer rejected, provided the trend remains valid.

🔢 ADX TREND STRENGTH

🔹 Enable ADX trend strength — Default: true — Activates the TREND STRENGTH card and ADX scoring within the signal grade.

🔹 ADX period — Default: 14 — Sets the calculation period for ADX, +DI, and −DI.

🔹 Strong trend level — Default: 20 — ADX at or above this value is classified as STRONG.

🔹 Weak / flat level — Default: 15 — ADX below this value is classified as WEAK / FLAT. Values between 15 and 20 are MODERATE.

🔹 Block signals in FLAT market — Default: false — Prevents new signals while ADX remains below the weak level, helping filter sideways conditions on lower timeframes.

🔢 HISTORY DEPTH

🔹 Chart history bars — Default: 100000 — Sets the maximum number of chart candles processed. The minimum is 500. Lower values can improve loading speed on slower computers, while statistics cover only the selected range.

🔹 HTF history bars — Default: 50000 — Sets the maximum number of higher-timeframe candles loaded. The minimum is 200, and the history should cover at least the same period as the chart history.

🔢 VISUALS

🔹 Paint trend candles — Default: true — Paints candles using the trend colours when the indicator starts.

🔹 Hide original bars — Default: true — Hides the terminal’s original candles while painting is active so only the trend candles remain visible.

🔹 Show signal arrows — Default: true — Displays BUY and SELL arrows on the chart.

🔹 Arrow offset (pips) — Default: 4.0 — Sets the distance between the signal arrow and the candle low for BUY signals or candle high for SELL signals. Larger offsets can help on gold, indices, or crypto.

🔹 Panel X position (px) — Default: 10 — Sets the horizontal panel distance from the left edge of the chart in pixels.

🔹 Panel Y position (px) — Default: 24 — Sets the vertical panel distance from the top edge of the chart in pixels.

🔹 Panel scale (0 = auto by screen DPI) — Default: 0 — Uses automatic DPI scaling when set to 0. Values such as 1.0, 1.25, or 1.5 can force a specific panel size.

🔹 Start with panel minimized — Default: false — Starts with only the panel header visible. The + button expands the panel.

🔢 ZONE STYLE

🔹 Zone width (bars) — Default: 30 — Sets how many candles to the right each zone extends. A zone is automatically shortened when the next signal begins.

🔹 Zone box opacity (0-255) — Default: 55 — Controls the strength of the red risk box and teal reward box. 0 is invisible and 255 is full colour. The reward box uses 60% of this value.

🔹 Show price labels — Default: true — Displays entry, SL, TP prices, R, grade, and status labels at the zone edges.

🔹 Show historical zones — Default: true — Keeps previous zones visible on the chart. When disabled, only the latest zone is drawn.

🔹 Max history zones — Default: 15 — Sets the number of previous zones retained in addition to the latest zone. Statistics still include all signals.

🔢 SESSIONS

Session times are defined in GMT and adjusted according to the broker server GMT offset.

🔹 Show sessions on start — Default: false — Displays session boxes when the indicator starts.

🔹 Broker server GMT offset (hours) — Default: 0 — Sets the broker server time difference from GMT. For example, 2 or 3. Session hours are shifted by this value.

🔹 Session history (days) — Default: 10 — Sets how many previous days of trading sessions are displayed.

🔹 Session background opacity (0-255) — Default: 30 — Controls the fill strength of session boxes. Lower values keep candles easier to read.

🔹 TP2 line / TP3 line — Default: Cyan / Gold — Sets the colours of the TP2 and TP3 target lines.

🔢 Quick Troubleshooting

🔹 Nothing is drawn after attaching — Wait several seconds for higher-timeframe history to download, or switch the chart timeframe once to force a reload.

🔹 Session boxes are at the wrong hours — Check and correct Broker server GMT offset (hours). The broker server time minus GMT determines the session shift.

🔹 TELEGRAM / WEBSITE show a link box instead of opening the browser — Enable Allow DLL imports from the Dependencies tab or MT5 Expert Advisor settings. The displayed link can also be copied manually.

🔹 Very few signals — Lower the SuperTrend multiplier or Confirm bars count, select a lower trend timeframe, or disable the Stochastic / ADX filters.

🔹 Too many signals in ranging markets — Increase Confirm bars count to 3, enable Block signals in FLAT market, or select a higher trend timeframe.

🔹 Original candles show through — Make sure Hide original bars is set to true and the PAINT function is ON.

🔢 Simple Trend Sniper X Pro Logic

🔹 Higher-Timeframe Trend — The main trend is measured with the HTF SuperTrend and can be confirmed by the HTF EMA filter.

🔹 Closed-Bar Confirmation — With Use closed HTF bars only (no repaint) enabled, only completed HTF candles are used for stable historical signals.

🔹 Noise Filtering — Confirm bars count requires the new trend to hold for a selected number of chart candles before a signal can fire.

🔹 Entry Selection — Signals can use MARKET, RETEST, or MID-BAR entry modes.

🔹 Risk Levels — SL distance is based on ATR, while TP1, TP2, and TP3 are defined through Risk multiples.

🔹 Momentum Confirmation — Stochastic can contribute momentum scoring and optionally block signals when its reading is REJECTED.

🔹 Trend Strength — ADX provides trend-strength classification and can optionally block signals during FLAT conditions.

🔹 Signal Levels — Entry, SL, and TP levels are frozen at the signal close and can be published through MT5 Global Variables for an EA bridge.

🔢 Recommended Starting Configuration

🔹 Trend timeframe (HTF) — H1 provides the default higher-timeframe trend reference.

🔹 SuperTrend ATR period — 10 keeps the standard SuperTrend calculation from the original configuration.

🔹 SuperTrend multiplier — 3.0 provides the original balance between signal frequency and filtering.

🔹 HTF EMA filter — true keeps the additional trend-direction confirmation active.

🔹 Use closed HTF bars only — true should remain enabled for non-repainting historical signals.

🔹 Confirm bars count — 2 provides the original confirmation requirement. Increasing it to 3–4 can reduce false flips in ranging markets.

🔹 Entry mode — RETEST is the original default and waits for a pullback after the signal.

🔹 ATR SL multiplier — 1.5 provides the original ATR-based stop calculation.

🔹 TP1 / TP2 / TP3 Risk — 1.5 / 3.0 / 4.0 maintains the original target structure.

🔹 Enable Stochastic confirmation — true keeps momentum scoring active.

🔹 Enable ADX trend strength — true keeps trend-strength scoring active.

🔹 Block signals in FLAT market — false keeps the original default. It can be enabled when stronger sideways-market filtering is required.
